Ted Colbert joined ADM’s board of directors in 2021 and serves as a member of the compensation and succession committee and the sustainability and technology committee.
Colbert most recently served as executive vice president of The Boeing Company and president and chief executive officer of Boeing Defense, Space & Security. He previously served as executive vice president of The Boeing Company and president and chief executive officer of Boeing Global Services and as chief information officer and senior vice president of Information Technology & Data Analytics, and held a series of other leadership roles at Boeing. Prior to Boeing, he served as senior vice president of Enterprise Architecture at Citigroup and held various roles in the Information Technology organization at Ford Motor Company.
Colbert serves as chair of New Leaders and co-vice chair of the Thurgood Marshall College Fund. He is also a trustee of the Georgia Tech Foundation, a board member of the Virginia Tech Innovation Campus Advisory Board, and a member of The Executive Leadership Council, the National Academy of Engineering, Yellow, and Resilinc Corporation. He previously served on the Georgia Tech President's Advisory Board, the National Space Council Users Advisory Group, the DC College Access Program, and the Aerospace Industries Association.
He completed the Dual Degree Engineering Program at the Georgia Institute of Technology and Morehouse College with degrees in Industrial and Systems Engineering and Interdisciplinary Science.
