Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) has named Thomas Ames Vice
President-Transportation and Logistics for the Grain Group. In this
position, he will be responsible for oversight of all transportation and
logistical activities of the Grain Group, including barge, rail and
truck, along with oversight of the documentation surrounding domestic
and export shipments.
Mr. Ames joined the Company in 1978, and has held management positions
in transportation and logistics for ADM. He most recently served as
Assistant Vice President- Transportation with responsibility for grain
transportation.
