ADM Directors Declare Cash Dividend

The Board of Directors of Archer Daniels Midland Company (NYSE: ADM) today declared a cash dividend of 11.5 cents per share on the Company’s stock payable September 5, 2007, to Shareholders of record August 15, 2007.

This is ADM’s 303rd consecutive quarterly payment, a record of 75 years of uninterrupted dividends. As of June 30, 2007, there were 643,359,573 shares of ADM stock outstanding.
