Robert Hobson has been named general manager for Archer Daniels Midland
Company’s (NYSE: ADM) North American Packaged Oils group. He will
relocate to the Company’s corporate headquarters in Decatur, Illinois,
and will report to Mark Zenuk, vice president, Global Oilseeds.
“ADM is pleased to have Bob in this role, and I am confident he will
provide important leadership and expertise as we seek to enhance our
portfolio of innovative, high-quality oils,” said Zenuk.
Hobson joined ADM in 1973 when the Company acquired operations of
British Arkady. Since joining the Company, he has held various
international finance and commercial positions. In 2000, he was named
manager, Mergers and Acquisitions, and in 2002, he was named managing
director of ADM Cocoa International. In 2004, he became managing
director, Pura Foods.
Hobson is a certified chartered accountant and a fellow of the Institute
of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales.
